Ultima Reforged is a custom shard that deliberately runs modern retail content instead of freezing the world at a classic era. The owners position it directly against the many shards that stop at T2A or Renaissance, and they keep the codebase current with ServUO so that late expansion systems actually work rather than sitting half implemented. On top of that base they add quality of life changes and a small set of house rules meant to stop multi account players from dominating the map and the economy. The shard runs on its own dedicated hardware off site, and describes every play style as welcome rather than picking PvP or PvE and building only for that.

The shard carries content from Mondain's Legacy, Age of Shadows, High Seas, Stygian Abyss, Samurai Empire and Time of Legends, kept in step with current retail rather than a fixed era.
